Privacy

The video never leaves your phone or your browser. When you log a session, the app pulls a handful of still frames out of the video on your device and sends only those frames to the AI service that identifies the exercises and writes your form notes. The frames are used for that one job and are not stored afterwards, by us or in your notebook. The video itself stays in your camera roll.

Your account. Your name, your email address, and a password we never see in plain text.

Your profile. What you tell us so the page can be written for you: weight, height, age, goals, experience, how you like to train, strength numbers, and anything you add about injuries or movements to avoid.

Your training. The sessions you log, the exercises in them, the form notes, and each page that gets written for you.

Your gear and places. The equipment you own, the gyms and pools and walls you train at, the classes you attend, and any notes you add about them.

To write your notebook: recognising what you did, noting your form, and writing the next page for where you’ll train. That is the whole purpose. We don’t sell your information, we don’t use it to train anything, and we don’t show you ads.

A few services run notebook.fit for us: secure cloud hosting, a database, the AI service that reads frames and writes pages, and an error monitoring service that tells us when something breaks. Each one sees only what it needs for its part of the job.

A cookie keeps you signed in on the web. The phone app keeps your sign-in on the phone. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Everything in your profile and your gear can be changed at any time. To delete your account and everything in your notebook, email us at support@notebook.fit from the address on the account and it will be done.

notebook.fit is for adults. If you are under 18, please don’t create an account.

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top will change and signed-in users will see a note. Questions go to support@notebook.fit.
